Coach Perpich notes that "our team has had some great success over the years and continues to grow in size. While the season itself is not a very long one, the athletes are very dedicated and put in the time throughout the summer months in preparation for the upcoming season. Their time and dedication has paid off. In the last two years, we have sent a boys team and 3 individuals to state. Other outstanding performances include: our boys team claiming their second Mid-State Conference title in history, receiving the lowest boys score in state in Crosby history and having 6 runners receive all conference honors. The upcoming years should be exciting as we have very talented veterans as well as junior high runners that can do some great things for these teams."
