I have a B.S. in Secondary Mathematics Education from North Dakota State University.

 

I’ve previously taught at Smithfield High School in Smithfield, Virginia; St. Louis Park High School, Fargo North High School, and Lake Region State College on the Grand Forks Air Force Base. I started teaching in C-I in 2006.

 

I became a teacher because I love mathematics, and I wanted to make a difference in the lives of young people.

 

Outside of school, I volunteer as a Child Passenger Safety Technician, educating people on the proper use of car seats, booster seats, and seat belts.  I am actively involved in my church on the Sports Ministry Committee, and I am a discussion group leader in MOPs (Mothers of Preschoolers).  I try to get out on the slopes and snowboard when I get a chance.  My favorite pastime is spending time with my husband and two daughters and one son.
