Dear Families,

Below you will find some questions and answers regarding meal delivery.

Question:  When did meal delivery to students begin?
Answer:    Monday, March 23rd, between 10:00 a.m. and noon.

Question:  Will someone come to knock on my door when the meal arrives at my house?
Answer:    No.  The meals will be delivered to bus stops of children.  If a family member does not come out to get the meal when the bus pulls up to the bus stop, the bus will proceed to the next stop.

Question:  How long will the bus wait at the bus stop for meal delivery?
Answer:     The bus drivers have been instructed to wait for one minute, for someone to meet the bus to pick up the meals.

Question:  My child does not normally ride the bus and, therefore, does not have a bus stop.  How will meals be delivered to my child?
Answer:    A school van or a school suburban will pull in the driveway and will honk the horn.  The drivers have been instructed to wait one minute for someone to come out to get the meals, and then  proceed to the next stop.

Question:  What if I miss the bus or miss the delivery vehicle?  Will they come back the next day?
Answer:    A child is able to miss the delivery three consecutive times. After that, the child will be taken off of the delivery list.  However, parents can sign up again for free meal delivery.

Question:  Is it too late to sign up for meal delivery to my child?
Answer:    It is not too late.  Contact the school district if you would like free meals delivered to your child's bus stop.
