Dear community members,
The Crosby-Ironton Sports Boosters is an organization that raises monies for Crosby-Ironton High School sporting teams through charitable gambling, donations, and fundraising. The funds ensure that student participants can participate regardless of financial situation and helps to offset needs not covered by the school district budget.
It is no secret that students who participate in sports have a better outcome statistically for education, health, and income therefore having a direct correlation to the success of our community. The Crosby-Ironton Sports Boosters takes pride in the opportunities it can provide students and our community.
With C-I Booster board member seats coming to term, the organization is actively looking for new board members to carry on the tradition. The board is comprised of community members like you: sports fans, advocates, parents, teachers, coaches, caretakers, and forward-thinkers. Meetings occur once a month, and the time commitment is 12-15 hours a year.
If you are interested in joining the C-I Sports Boosters, please contact President Krista Bordwell at cisportsboosters@outlook.com or join us at our next meeting. We are meeting Monday, February 22nd from 5:30-7:00pm at the Midway. We will be providing pizzas for anyone looking to join us!
