two dental staff holding a tooth

February is National Children's Dental Health Month and CRES has been busy with activities regarding dental health.

The kindergarten classes were visited by Penny and Angie, from Dr. Jeffrey Fish's dental office, in Crosby. The students learned about keeping teeth healthy, why we lose our teeth and what happens when we visit the dentist. Thank you ladies! All kindergarten classes took home a dental bag with a new toothbrush, toothpaste, dental floss, water bottle and a tooth timer courtesy of the Delta Dental of Minnesota Foundation.

Our school was able to host the Minnesota School Sealant Program again this year. Students were able to receive, free or reduced cost, preventative dental services, at CRES, during the school day. This year 21 students received preventative dental services. Thank you to Dr. Dens and his staff.
