Seventh graders, in Mr. Dirk's science, harvested their lettuce crop today. The plants were started during their unit on cell functions and photosynthesis, and then grown hydroponically with artificial lights. Now, during their digestive system unit, students got to harvest and eat their lettuce! The seventh graders in Mrs. Otterstad's FACS class also made the dressings for the salads from scratch.
