Students in Mrs. Duhn's class took part in a STEM activity for Thanksgiving! Students made up stories about why the turkey was trying to escape then used cranberries, toothpicks, and popsicle sticks to build rafts for the turkey to get away on. They had to work in teams and use trial and error to make it work!

At the end of September, a small group of Crosby-Ironton seniors had the opportunity to travel to Washington D.C and Gettysburg. Students were able to explore the Smithsonian, Washington’s Mount Vernon, the U.S. Capital, various monuments, Arlington National Cemetery…to name a few. Four days of jam packed history gave students a new perspective of the U.S. to intrigue their learning throughout their senior year studies! A big shout-out to Mrs. Schenk (McDonald), for organizing such an amazing opportunity for our students. Thank you!
