Thanks to the generous donations by members of Immanuel Lutheran Church, we were able to provide extra gifts to 40 of our students. We appreciate the support and the generosity of our community to our students and families! #holidaygiving

Yesterday students were in Holiday Cheer mode! White-Out at CRES and Ugly Sweater day at the high school.

3rd graders presented what they have been learning in Music, Physical Education, and Technology and Innovation class at their STEAM Expo. The theme of the expo was Moving Pictures. This theme was chosen based on what the students are reading, at the time from their reading curriculum. The Music performance included students singing, playing instruments, and bucket drumming with glow in the dark drumsticks! During the Physical Education portion, students showed off the basketball skills they have been working on during a glow in the dark basketball show! Lastly, for the Technology & Innovation portion, students demonstrated their digital media production skills as they made stop motion videos with their families.

Growing up, what was your favorite holiday tradition?

Santa's helper (Mrs. Otterstad) 🎅 and the elves (Culinary students) have been extremely busy in the workshop. Thank you for all your hard work on these beautiful cookies.🎄

It was White-Out Wednesday at CRES and Holiday Spirit at the high school yesterday! #holidaydressup #gocigo

Ms. Kate's class spent time last week learning about The Outreach Program. Students checked out their website and talked about why the program is so helpful. They took to the classroom assembly line to make food bags out of all of the meal packs that were put together at The Outreach Program by C-I Staff. These food bags will go out to kids and families right here in ISD 182!
To bring it full-circle; Ms. Kate's class made a bag of the Mac & Cheese meal to try it out and it scored a 10/10! Many hands make light work and boundless blessings!

Students were certainly in the holiday spirit at CRES, while students at the high school were comfy in their holiday pj's!

We are so thankful and grateful to our amazing staff! 18 staff members gathered at The Outreach Program of Brainerd Lakes and prepared over 8,000 meals in just two nights. These meals are coming back to our district and being distributed to students and families with food insecurities, especially over the holiday break.
A big shout-out to the Crosby Fire Department for being the financial sponsor! This couldn't have happened without you.
We are hoping to make this a yearly happening and look forward to adding more staff each year! #grateful #thankful #gocigo
