Did you know that Wednesday, February 8 was the 100th day of school? These staff and students sure did!

Thank you to Jill Casper from MMFCU for taking the time to present to our 9-12th grade students on banking basics. Students were engaged and she had a lot of great information!!

Thank you to all staff, students and families for participating on a successful AFTT evening last week. Even with the blustery cold, we are currently at a higher percentage for our winter meeting than our fall one. Amazing! Did we hit 50%? Will Mr. Becker be spending a night at CRES? We are still getting totals, as some families that couldn’t make it last week are still coming in to get information and games. Stay tuned!

Are you seeing double? Triple? Even quadruple? So are we! It was Twin Day at CRES and the HS.

3rd graders were busy practicing making change by participating in a class store!

Students got creative when it came to not using their usual backpacks! Students at CRES enjoyed dressing like Disney!

Shout-out to students in the RangerMade class for finishing these pom-pom hats, with the Ranger logo, for our chamber singers!

CRES Kindergartners visited the Care Center to spread some Valentine love! Residents and students completed an intergenerational craft, sang songs, listened to stories, played Valentine bingo and even danced a little!
Thank you to Deerwood Fire Department for stepping in and paying for bussing as it was too cold to walk on Friday!

Twenty-one, 7-9th graders, traveled to CLC to compete in the area Knowledge Bowl competition. Three C-I teams placed: 1st, 2nd, and 5th! One team also won the theme of the meet: Superheroes. Congratulations on a job well done!

February is Minnesota School Board Recognition Month, so please take time to thank these dedicated school leaders.
