7th graders and Link Crew leaders met for their final session of the 2024-2025 school year. We worked on a hexagonal connections activity where students reflected on what makes them unique and then found connections with their classmates.

In Technology & Innovation, 6th graders created and coded games similar to Crossy Road but we used a penguin instead of the chicken and penguins in bobsleds instead of cars. The goal was to make it across the ice to get to the ocean while avoiding all of the moving bobsleds! The students used code in Scratch to program the game. The best part of projects like these are to see the students customize and make changes to the code in the game to make it more challenging and entertaining.
