1st graders are loving the new ChompSaws that were added to Technology and Innovation class! These are kid-safe power tools that allow the students to easily cut cardboard and bring their inventions to life! We are no longer burdened with the difficulty of cutting cardboard with scissors. We can create and invent anything we want out of cardboard with these new tools. We have 5 new ChompSaws in the STEAM Lab. Thank you to Cuyuna Lakes Education Foundation for providing the funds to make this possible! #steamlab #techandinnovation #ChompSaws

4th graders are busy getting ready for their STEAM Expo at the end of February! The theme of the expo is Native American Tribes. In Technology and Innovation class, each group of students selected a tribe to research. They are currently working on compiling the research, presenting their research in Google Slides or with a video in the green screen room, 3D printing the type of housing their tribe traditionally lived in, and painting the finished 3D product.
