Kindergarten students celebrated their hard work in reading with a Flashlight Friday reading celebration, complete with stuffed animals, blankets and comfy clothes!

Fourth grade students celebrated Earth Day with a visit from Graphic Packaging International. They presented their T.I.C.C.I.T (Trees into cartons, cartons into trees) program that explained the importance of reducing waste, reusing, and recycling. Each student was able to plant a tree to bring home.
Mr. Bruss' first graders were learning all about the state of Minnesota. They finished the lesson by making their own State of Minnesota out of wild rice and corn!

Connelly Wassen is the Senior Spotlight of the day!
Congratulations to Kearah Westhoff (nominated by Mrs. Moore) and Miranda Sicora (nominated by Mrs. Thoennes) for being recognized last night as Sourcewell's Students of Character. They attended a banquet at Madden's Resort with other well-deserving students from school districts in the area. Kearah and Miranda received an award and scholarship for their hard work and dedication to our school. We are so proud of you both!

The Culinary Arts 1 class was busy creating their own unique food truck concept. This included building the menu, marketing, pricing, making grocery lists, preparing, and FINALLY serving their creations at the Food Truck Expo for over fifty students and staff members!
