Prom tickets are only being sold throughout the month of March. Tickets can be purchased during second lunch every Wednesday and Friday OR see Mrs. Syrstad to purchase tickets. The last day to purchase prom tickets is Wednesday, March 30th. After that, tickets will not be available.


Seth Jackson, Financial Advisor from Edward Jones, came into the Money Management and Career Seminar classes to discuss the importance of investing and saving for retirement. The powerful graphs and impressive financial information left an impact on our students as they prepare for their futures!

This past Tuesday, the 9-12th grade band and choir students participated in the section music festival/contests at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. The students were able to see other schools perform throughout the day and were judged by 3 judges. The band received 3 excellent scores, and the choir received 1 excellent, and 2 superior scores from the judges. The judges then worked with the students to be even better! #Rangerpride #GoCIGo

It’s 3.14, Pi Day! The Culinary classes celebrated by making pie! Sixteen different pies were made, ranging from classics like French Silk and Lemon Meringue to more unsuspecting flavors like Hazelnut Chocolate and Captain Crunch!




The School Calendar that was sent out has an error. The actual last day of school for students and staff is June 2, 2022. Graduation is still June 3, 2022.

Crosby-Ironton's Service Action Leadership Team (SALT) is hosting a drive to collect hygiene products to donate to HOPE in Aitkin. There will be a box in the high school office and one in the CRES office starting today, March 11 until Thursday, March 31. Thank you!

Lea St. Onge , HR and Finance Coordinator for the CI School District, shared her wealth of knowledge and expertise with the Money Management and Career Seminar students. Lea created a hands-on experience for our students, walking the students through all of the federal, state, and workplace specific paperwork that need to be completed and understood as new employees.


Maddie, from Maddie’s Macarons, came into the Culinary Arts 2 class to talk about the science of baking. With her guidance, the class attempted to make meringue and found out just how precise the measurements and materials needed to be to find success! Thank you for taking time from your busy life to share your expertise, and thank you for bringing us your amazingly delicious macarons!
