Looking for something to do this dreary day? Look no further, as the C-I Music Department presents their Variety Show at 7 p.m. in the Mayberry Auditorium today!


Last week, 7th and 8th graders completed a hexagonal connections activity during Culture Shock. Students completed individual hexagons by filling in their answers to six questions. Then, students found similarities with other students and connected their hexagons. #cultureshock #gocigo

It may have been a short week last week, but Mercutio, Tybalt, and Romeo had quite the sword fight in Mrs. Thoennes' room, as they read an abridged version of Romeo and Juliet!


On Wednesday, March 27th, SALT hosted its annual "We Are Silent" event. Forty-four students signed up to take a pledge of silence to bring awareness to causes important to them. By the end of the day, there were 14 students left who remained silent for the entire school day.

Students in Mr. Shafbuch's Engineering and Innovation class learned how to program the CNC plasma table and cut out a part that they designed on computer aided design (CAD).

Crosby-Ironton Alumni, Sammy LeMieur, is a senior at NYU. He happens to be back in Minnesota filming his thesis which will be the first thesis film, in the history of NYU, to be shot in the state of Minnesota! At the end of January, Certified Nursing Assistant student, Katelyn-Wisely Peterson, started classes at Good Samaritan Society. She will be moving into their clinicals and is getting closer to testing at Central Lakes College. Keep up the great work, Katelyn and best of luck on your test!

The Kindergarten classes ventured to the Care Center for their monthly visit and did many activities with the residents. They colored paper Easter eggs, did Easter word finds, and the students played hopscotch!



Mrs. Horner's 5th graders selected a science vocabulary word and brought it to life on a hat. They put their creative minds to work and the outcome was epic! #sciencerules
